Marhum Mohsin Hassanali Jaffer (Toronto)

It is with great sadness that we have received the news that Marhum Mohsin Hassanali Jaffer passed away in Toronto on Friday, 1st December 2023.

Marhum was the husband of Rekha Jaffer (Toronto).

Marhum was the father of Hassan Mohsin Jaffer (Toronto) and Minaz Habib Ladha (Toronto).

Marhum was brother of Marhuma Rubab Fidahussein Manji, Marhuma Batul Yusufali Juma, Amina Gulamraza Jivraj (New York), Jaffer Hassanali Alloo (New York), Sikina Sikander Bhanji (Birmingham), Ahmed Hassanali Alloo (New York), Razia Ansarali Hemraj (Dubai)

Funeral details are yet to be confirmed.

Momineen are requested to remember the Marhum/ Marhuma with Surah Fateha / Namaz-e-Wahshat / Hadiyye Mayyit after burial.


Mu’mineen are requested to give sadaqah on behalf of the deceased and remember them with Namaze Wahshat after the burial & with Duas of Maghferah.

Namaz-e-Wahshat: 

In the first Raka’at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Ayatul Kursi should be recited once and in the second Raka’at, Surah al-Qadr should be recited 10 times after Surah-al-Hamd.

Namaz-e-Haddiye Mayyit:

In the first Raka’at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Surah Qadr should be recited. In the second Raka’at, after Surah al-Hamd recite Surah Kawther.
