It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Marhum Shaban Alibhai Jaffer has by the will of the Almighty (swt) passed away in London earlier this morning Monday, 01/02/2023
Marhum was the husband of Zarina Bai Jaffer and father of Brother Navshir Jaffer and Sister Saira Sharif.
Marhum was the eldest brother of Marhum Mohamedali Jaffer, Marhum Anwer Jaffer, Br Haider Jaffer, Br Mohamed Jaffer, Marhum Sultanali Jaffer & Br Akbar Jaffer of Peterborough and Gulam Jaffer (USA), Leyla Manji (Canada), Fatma Bhimani (USA) and Nargis Bhimani (Canada).
Marhum was uncle (mama) of Brother Raza Manji and Abbas Manji (NY)

Namaz-e-Wahshat:
In the first Raka’at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Ayatul Kursi should be recited once and in the second Raka’at, Surah al-Qadr should be recited 10 times after Surah-al-Hamd.
Namaz-e-Haddiye Mayyit:
In the first Raka’at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Surah Qadr should be recited. In the second Raka’at, after Surah al-Hamd recite Surah Kawther.
